Pipeline Mentoring Institute

The Pipeline Mentoring Institute (PMI), under the guidance of the Dines Fellowship, is dedicated to enhancing diversity within the medical profession by addressing educational barriers from elementary through undergraduate levels. The PMI aims to equip underrepresented minority (URM) students with essential skills, including study techniques and standardized test preparation, to better prepare them for careers in medicine and health-related fields. Additionally, the program focuses on establishing local pipeline initiatives and fostering cross-cultural competence through strategic experiences within the SNMA chapter network. Together, these efforts strive to create a more inclusive and diverse future in healthcare.
